About Taste Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant

Located at 152 Morrisville Square Way, Morrisville, NC 27560, Taste Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant operates as a vietnamese serving Morrisville in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bubble tea store, pho restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Morrisville, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–3 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 234-6385. Morrisville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Morrisville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This used to be a great place for Pho. However, my last visit is not a good one. We went there for a group lunch. Not a lot of customers. Pretty quiet. I ordered a round rice noodle special pho. The soup is good. However, there is barely enough noodle in the bowl. I then ordered an extra $3 noodle. The waiter came with a small bowl with barely any noodle covering the bottom of the bowl. It is more of just another bite. I kind of feel jaw dropping when I saw they gave me this little extra noodle. It is probably less than half of the extra noodle I got in another Pho place in SE Cary Parkway. Needless to say, I feel not full after I spent $20 for the lunch. I am an old guy and I don't eat a lot nowadays. Others in my group ordered the standard combination Pho but they never told us the meat ball is actually extra. I am not going back to this place any more. The economy is bad. Inflation is a thing. But this is really a disappointing $20 Pho.

This has become a comfort spot for my girlfriend and I. We stop by at least once a week, the pho is ALWAYS amazing, very consistent on flavor. I like that it’s a small restaurant, it adds a sense of comfort. The staff is always nice and it’s safe to say, we’re creatures of habit because they have memorized our order. If you haven’t been here and you’re looking for a pho spot, do yourself a solid and stop by here. I recommend the well done beef pho Fried pork gyoza Beef short ribs BBQ Spring Rolls & their house made chili oil is amazing on anything!

Update- Recent visit there was a hard foreign object, rock like, in my egg roll. It was a large piece and I'm thankful I didnt chip a tooth, seriously. It was a bit unsettling. I don't like leaving negative info, but it's odd and makes you wonder how did that get in the mix? Staff was nice to offer a free one next time, but unfortunately I won't be eating there again. This place is great! I had the Chicken Pho. It was fresh and delicious. Staff is very friendly. Definitely going to try some other dishes as well.

Great down to earth place for Vietnamese cuisine with crowd and fast service. The Vietnamese sandwich with pork is definitely better than the one with chicken. Hard to beat the price and taste food. Will try to be back trying other things on the menu☺️

Overall Score: 2.8/10 – A disappointing experience with a lackluster atmosphere and several issues with the food, making it an underwhelming visit overall. Atmosphere and Service: 4.5/10 – The restaurant was clean but dimly lit, giving it a somewhat uninviting feel. The overall vibe felt more like a place to eat quickly and leave rather than a welcoming dining experience. It wasn’t busy, yet the energy in the restaurant still felt lacking. Pho: 3.9/10 – A major letdown. The broth was bland and seemed watered down, missing the depth of flavor expected in a well-made pho. Fresh Rolls: 4.0/10 – Served with sweet sauce instead of the peanut sauce listed on the menu. This substitution affected the overall flavor balance and took away from the traditional experience. Gyoza: 4.3/10 – The gyoza itself was fine, but it was missing soy sauce, which should have been included for dipping. Pork Plate: 4.1/10 – The dish was missing the egg, which was supposed to be included. The missing components made the plate feel incomplete, and it seemed like the staff may have assumed the details wouldn’t be noticed.
